The Agricultural Academy Project is a flagship initiative of the AsiAfrica Foundation (ASAFO), designed to strengthen agricultural capacities in Africa through direct cooperation with leading Thai institutions and experts in the agricultural sector.
Launched as part of ASAFO’s commitment to practical development cooperation, the project addresses one of the most pressing challenges across the African continent: food security and sustainable rural livelihoods.
Objectives
Transfer agricultural knowledge and techniques from Asia (particularly Thailand) to African communities.
Train African youth and professionals in modern, low-cost, and climate-resilient farming methods.
Create a network of Asia-Africa agricultural actors for long-term collaboration.
Support food self-sufficiency through local adaptation of successful Asian agricultural models.
Promote sustainable, organic, and cooperative farming systems for economic resilience.
After returning home, trainees are encouraged to replicate practices and lead initiatives, with ASAFO providing remote follow-up and connection to funding or technical support.
