Bringing Asia and Africa together through cultural exchange, dialogue, and development action

ASAFO events are more than just gatherings — they are opportunities to strengthen connections, share knowledge, celebrate cultures, and advance meaningful collaboration between Asia and Africa. Our events support our mission by raising awareness, fostering partnerships, and generating resources to sustain our programmes.

We’re jumping for joy and very happy to announce the launch of AsiAfrica DANCE ACADEMY on September 3, 2017 in Bangkok! Our teams have been working on this project for a long time to share the authenticity of Africa and Asian cultures through their most expressive forms – dance! With the blessing of international dance organizations and Embassies, our aim is to go beyond dance moves and techniques and build bridges and mutual understanding through multicultural education that dance can offer. Our curriculum will cover fundamental knowledge, historical heritage and context, musicality as well as developing solid skills and foundation for leisure, fitness, social dance or performance. To begin with, the courses are designed for beginners and intermediate levels in KIZOMBA, AFRO, AFRO CUBAN, SALSA and a variety of Asian dances. Different offers will also be available to students according to their desire and demand. The following offers will be available:
